Studio Policy

New client

As a first time client it is important as your new stylist to take the time necessary during your initial appointment to ensure you are starting your healthy hair journey on the right track. During your first appointment, I will assess the health of your scalp and hair, discuss previous hair history, as well as hair goals. The value added with your first appointment goes way beyond. You leave knowing exactly what to do and use on your hair along with a tailored regimen. You must select one of the First Time Client Packages for your initial visit. Failure to do so will result in a canceled appointment and a non-refundable deposit. 


Appointment Booking

All appointments are to be booked online at bookwithtori.com. My booking system is accessible 24/7 and available in real time. If no appointments are available at the time you wish or you are requesting an appointment outside of regular business hours, you can email me at bbslatoria@icloud.com with subject line: WAIT LIST and state your; name/ day and time of appointment requested, and service. I will contact you if an appointment becomes available. 

A valid credit/debit card is required to secure all appointments. Your card will be authorized but not charged upon booking. You are more than welcome to choose a different payment method at the end of your scheduled appointment. In the event of a no call/ no show or cancelation your card will be charged accordingly.  

All payments are processed through an SSL secured portal.


CANCELLATIONs

24 hour notice is required for cancellation. No Exceptions 

  • Within 24 hours prior: No charge
  • Same Day Cancellation: 50% of service total
  • No call/ No show: Full Service Amount 

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable. In the event of a rescheduled appointment that falls within the 24 hour cancellation guidelines, deposits are applied to the new appointment service. 


Payments

Cash, debit, and all major credit cards are acceptable forms of payment.

Gratuity appreciated. 


Guest

Studio 119 is a quaint salon space that is reserved for clients receiving services only. We ask that you refrain from bringing guest to your appointment. This includes children. 


returning clients

If it has been more than 90 days since your last appointment, you are considered a returning client. You are required to select one of the services from the First Time Client Packages to re-acclimate your healthy hair journey. 


late arrival 

Arriving more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment time may result in abbreviated service or rescheduling of your appointment to ensure each client including yourself receive attentive service. 


Appointment Prep

You should arrive to your scheduled appointment with your hair in "ready to be serviced" condition with the removal of any previous styles including but not limited to: excessively heavy grease/oil products, twist, braids, and extension installations. Add-on services are available for product build-up and extension removal and will be applied when deemed neccessary. A $25 prep fee will be accessed to services that requires excessive de-tangling. 


image release

During your visit I may take before and after photos/videos of your hair with your permission. By agreeing to have your photo/video taken by myself (Latoria Polite) for Brilliant Beauty, llc you are authorizing myself and Brilliant Beauty, llc to publish photographs and videos of you, your name, and likeness for use in print, online, and video based marketing as well as other company publications. You release and hold harmless Brilliant Beauty, llc from any reasonable expectation of privacy or confidentiality associated with the images specified. 

You acknowledge that your participation is voluntary and you will not receive financial compensation of any type associated with the taking or publication of photographs, videos, or participation in company marketing materials or other company publications. You acknowledge and agree that publication of said photos or videos confers no rights of ownership or royalties whatsoever. 

You hereby release Brilliant Beauty, llc, its contractors, employees, and any third parties involved in the creation of marketing materials from liability for any claims by me or any third party in connection in my participation.
